FSSI Official Website - FSCS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS WITHIN FIRST QUARTER

The Fund for Sustainable Civil Society (FSCS) Grants Facility has began to accept proposals for the year 2009.until the first quarter only (January to March) and will be processing the qualified applications on the second quarter or from April to June.

The FSCS Grants Facility provides grants mainly to help meet the needs of civil society organizations (CSOs) that are actively concerned with poverty reduction and socio-economic justice promotion for the poor and marginalized sectors. It was established in December 2001 as a joint initiative of the Foundation for a Sustainable Society, Inc. and the Netherlands Organization for International Development Cooperation (NOVIB). To date, FSCS has extended assistance to 38 projects amounting to PhP 9 million (as of December 2004) throughout the country.
